This Refund and Cancellation Policy governs all payments made through the Razorpay
payment gateway to the Council for Research on Policy and Governance (CRPG), New
Delhi, India. By completing a payment transaction on our platform, you acknowledge and
agree to the terms set forth herein.
1. Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to all financial transactions processed through Razorpay on the CRPG
website and platforms, including but not limited to:
- Registration fees for training programmes, conferences, seminars, workshops, and capacity-building events.
- Subscription fees for CRPG publications, reports, and digital resources.
- Consultancy and project engagement advance payments.
- Membership and institutional partnership fees.
- Research and advocacy service retainers.
- Any other service or product offered by CRPG on a paid basis.
2. Cancellation Policy
2.1 Cancellation by the Participant / Licensee
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to CRPG at info@crpgglobal.org with the
subject line “Cancellation Request” along with the order/transaction ID and reason for
cancellation.
The following cancellation timelines apply:
- Cancellation 15 or more days before the event/service commencement date: Full refund minus applicable payment gateway charges.
- Cancellation between 7 and 14 days before the event/service commencement date: 50% refund of the amount paid.
- Cancellation less than 7 days before the event/service commencement date: No
- refund. However, the participant may be permitted to transfer the registration to another eligible person.
- Non-attendance without prior cancellation: No refund will be provided.
2.2 Cancellation by CRPG
In the event that CRPG cancels a programme, event, or service due to insufficient
enrolment, force majeure, or any other unavoidable reason, the following shall apply:

- A full refund of the amount paid will be processed within 10 working days.
- Alternatively, CRPG may offer a credit note or transfer to a future programme of equal value, at the participant’s discretion.
- CRPG shall not be liable for any consequential or indirect costs incurred by the participant, including travel, accommodation, or visa expenses.
3. Refund Policy
3.1 Eligibility for Refund
Refunds will be considered in the following circumstances:

- Duplicate payments made due to technical errors on the Razorpay gateway.
- Payment debited but registration or enrolment not confirmed by CRPG within 48 hours.
- Cancellation of a paid service by CRPG.
- Cancellation by the participant within the eligible window as described in Section 2.1 above.
3.2 Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will NOT be issued in the following cases:

- Requests made after the applicable cancellation deadline has passed.
- Partial attendance at or incomplete use of a programme or service.
- Failure to meet participation prerequisites after payment.
- Dissatisfaction with programme content where services were delivered as described.
- Payments made for customised consultancy reports, strategy documents, or bespoke research that have been initiated or delivered.
3.4 Payment Gateway Charges
Upon approval of a refund request, CRPG will initiate the refund through the Razorpay
payment gateway. The refund will be credited to the original source of payment. Please

4. How to Request a Refund
To initiate a refund request, please follow the steps below:
- Email your request to info@crpgglobal.org with the subject line: “Refund Request – [Your Full Name] – [Transaction ID]”.
- Include the following details: Full name, contact number, email address used for registration, Razorpay Transaction/Order ID, date and amount of payment, and reason for refund request.
- Attach supporting documentation if applicable (e.g., payment receipt, bank statement showing duplicate deduction).
- CRPG will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and communicate the outcome within 7 business days.
5. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute arising from a transaction or refund request, the parties shall first
attempt to resolve the matter amicably through direct communication with CRPG. If the
dispute is not resolved within 30 days, it may be referred to mediation or arbitration as per
the applicable laws of India.
For disputes related to Razorpay payment processing, you may also raise a grievance
directly through Razorpay’s customer support portal at razorpay.com.
6. Governing Law
This Refund and Cancellation Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with
the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in
New Delhi.
7. Amendments to This Policy
CRPG reserves the right to modify or update this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time
without prior notice. The most current version will always be available on the CRPG website.
Continued use of CRPG services after any such modification constitutes your acceptance of
the updated policy.
